BIG SKY to BIG WORLD
TICKETS: $10 each or 3 for $25
Package is for up to SIX people!
Your weekend will start with a two-hour horse ride at on the gorgeous ranch that is home to Hells A Roarin Outfitters (hellsaroarinoutfitters.com). The views of the park are awesome! Check-in at the Flying Pig Adventure Company (flyingpigrafting.com) by 4PM for an evening raft trip to your campsite at Upriver Yellowstone (upriveryellowstone.com). At Upriver, you'll stay in their wall tents on the banks of the Yellowstone River. You'll have a riverside campsite provided with a delicious dinner, s'mores, and conversation by the fire. (Bring your fishing rod!)
After a hot breakfast, you’ll ready your gear and snap the life-jackets back on for another 14 miles down the river! The morning float contains miles of beautiful scenery, calm stretches of river mixed with intermittent rapids and includes a stop for a delicious lunch on the river’s edge. Don’t be fooled by the lazy flow of the river after lunch - just ahead lies the Class III rapids of the famous Yankee Jim Canyon– a highlight for all rafters!
Once you’re safely off the river, we’ll take you by bus back to the Flying Pig Adventure Center where your overnight gear will be waiting for you. Once you've recovered (and sent the kids to grandmas!) enjoy a quiet dinner for two at Chico Hot Springs (www.chicohotsprings.com).
Enjoy all this...and help a little Montana girl see the great big world when she ventures to Africa in the fall of 2017 for her sophomore year of high school with The Traveling School (www.travelingschool.org)!
